Get into the SA music industry – Jo’burg event

‘Off the heels of the South African Music Awards (SAMAS),  the country’s abuzz about music.

This month’s New Ideas for Africa session is themed ‘Music: reclaiming cultural richness’. We will be taking a look at the music industry in South Africa, focusing on matters such as barriers to entry and how to grow as an artist.

The session will be as interactive as usual so bring along your thinking hat with questions, suggestions and possible actions. Our resident NIfA muscian/producer Arlyn Culwick, Andrè Le Roux from the SAMRO (South African Music Rights Organisation) and Sifiso Ntuli, co-owner of House of Nsako will be our discussion hosts for the evening.

Please extend the invitation to all musicians and anyone interested in accessing information on the music industry.
